Description

This course will help students gain an understanding of the process to achieve U.S. citizenship.Students will develop the knowledge, skills, and the confidence necessary to complete the naturalization process and pass the oral interview. In addition, the knowledge obtained from the course about U.S. History, Government, and the political process will allow students to acquire the abilities to participate fully as citizens and community members.

Finally, classroom activities will help students enhance their english reading, writing,listening, and speaking skills.

Prerequisite: Students must be at Beginning High,Intermediate or Advanced level. Also, they must have been legal residents of the U.S. for at least 3 years (or 1 year if married to a U.S. citizen)
