ESL 950EC: English for Child Development

Description

This intermediate course develops oral and written English language skills necessary to communicate about a child’s development.

Students practice skills to introduce, objectively describe, and reflect on children, their actions, and their interests.

Pass/No Pass Option.

Textbook: Will be provided in class 
Students must be enrolled in both Mission College and Santa Clara Adult Education.

1. Enroll in Mission College:
– Visit Mission College website at www.missioncollege.edu to complete the online application
– After completing the application, contact Monica Sain, Transition Specialist at [email protected] or (408) 855-5503 to complete the final registration. If you need assistance please contact Monica Sain.

2. Enroll in Santa Clara Adult Education at www.santaclaraadulted.org or call the Santa Clara Adult Education office at (408) 423-3500.
Students who do not complete these two steps will not be enrolled.

This is a Mission College course held at Santa Clara Adult Education.

*Please note: Non-residents (individuals who have not lived in California for at least 1 year and 1 day, or who are international students on certain types of visas) will have to pay non-resident fees. The class will be at no cost for anyone else.
