Accounting Level II

This course completes the accounting cycle and discusses how to apply generally accepted ac-counting principles to key accounts. Topics covered include closing of the books, cash basis vs. accrual basis, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, long-term assets, payroll process and procedures and long-term liabilities. Students who enroll in this course will benefit greatly from taking QuickBooks 2 at the same time for a practice orientated approach.

Prerequisite: Accounting Level I

Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Prototyping with the 3D Printer

This course introduces learners to design concepts, the basics of CAD software and the creation of 3D models:

• Use computer aided design software to create design models

• Prepare the designs for optimal printing

• Print the objects on the 3D printer

• Understand the end-to-end procedures in the overall process of design

Prerequisite: Computer Literate.

Required: Students must bring their own laptop or MacBook

Class size is limited to 12 students. Enrollment first come – first serve

Office Skills Computer Lab

Office Skills Computer Lab

• Are held in the computer lab, Room K2.
• Have many subjects going on at the same time; therefore, it is self-paced with no lecture. If you need assistance, there is an instructor in the room to help you.
• You may start this class anytime during the term as long as there is space available in the class.
• If you have completed all the computer applications you are interested in and wish to leave before the end of term, you may do so.

 

Textbook List

 Textbooks are required on the first day of class.

Fee: There is one flat rate ($69) for each class, regardless of when you start or end during the term.

Classes are held on the following days/times:

MW 10am-12pm

MW 12:30-2:30pm

MW 6pm-8pm

TTh 6pm-8pm
